I mean, is there a word for how diabolical a decision this is from the officials? You wont see a clearer handball. The Refs in this league are an absolute disgrace across the board and what is the point of the linesman. They do nothing. They give nothing

It doesnt detract from our poor performance but that is a disgraceful display of officiating

Penalty and red card imo, he has stopped it on purpose and stopped a clear goalscoring opportunity

It wouldn’t be a red card as we would have a penalty. A red will be given outside the area. A red will only be given if it is stopping a goal, not a goal scoring opportunity

I stand corrected, I can't keep up with these rules. If a player handles it before the guy behind him is about to nod it in from 2 yards out its not a red card?

No. You cannot be sent off for stopping a goal scoring opportunity in the penalty area as you give a penalty away, which is a goal scoring opportunity itself. If the ball is going in the goal, like Barnet at home, then it is a red, as you’ve stopped a certain goal.

What minute was that? We score from the pen. They have to stop putting 9 across the pitch. We exploit the space win 4-0 and everyone says what a great performance. Fine lines and we are mostly getting wrong side of them.

It’s a excrement decision granted, and perhaps had we got the penalty we’d have scored a couple more but we didn’t and in truth, neither side did enough to win it…

Yes, it was handball, yes, it should have been a penalty but, in hindsight, we got pretty much what we  deserved last night. Kings Lynn played a lot closer to their level than we did to ours.

It’s been a constant since October, we’re nowhere near the level we were at on a consistent basis.

Just a spectacular job from the ref here, incredible levels of incompetence.

That’s a great photo and probably as far as the ref ventured from the centre circle all game.

Complete bottle job when he had a clear view of their player palming the ball away as it was going past him with Taylor through on goal. Some referees are cowards when it comes to making a big decision that would result in probably ending the game for a team. Should have been a penalty and possibly a case for a sending off for denying an opportunity on goal via handball. The sad thing is when this happens the linesmen are never any help, they may as well not be there.

If the linesman was in line with play, he probably wouldn't have been able to see it. No excuse for the referee, however.

It's a good job the ball was there or the ref's superman eye lasers would have done for Taylor.

At least the ref cannot be described as “ a homer “ but seriously can clubs express their dissatisfaction with the refs performance vie a mark sheet or by contacting the league, there again with the standard of refs this season we’d be sending these memo’s after every game.

1) We'd only have missed it anyway.

2) That is much of a penalty as that one on Saturday wasn't.

The performance of the team was ok. That’s just an appallingly poor refereeing non decision and I can’t see any justification for not giving it. Clear as day and a close up unobstructed view. Why is it not given? You can’t call referees cheats, but I fail to see how that is justified. Referees in this league always were generally sh1t and they still are.

If the referee's bottling decisions for the relatively big club home team in a fifth division match he's probably in the wrong (part time) job.
