I wonder what attendance level was used by the Club for its budget this season?  It’s hard to imagine it would have been more than 5,000.

We’ve sold over 6,000 for tomorrow night.  If tickets are maybe sold at £15 on average that’s another £15k for not much extra cost and maybe more on top from food, drink and programmes.  I realise it’s unlikely to get to 6000 every week but if it did, with 20 more home games that’s a £300k more income which could fund 2-3 more quality players in January.

Good points. 6000 for a Tuesday night is absolutely unbelievable!

I'm gutted I can't make tomorrow due to prior commitments but that's fantastic numbers. If we can get the home end full and rocking, it will be a big boost for the players. Particularly as that air of negativity that was always bubbling under the surface at BP seems to have dissipated.

I would imagine so, but I doubt they will bring more than 500, so that means the home fan numbers are growing, especially considering it's a night game.

Strange how we're able to sell more tickets for an evening game when a lot of exiles who can usually make a Saturday game won't be able to get back for it.

Mind you, a winning team certainly helps. Good signs already that we're attracting fans back to BP.

Issued tickets is very different to attending fans. Lots of exiles with STs who might not make it back. 5,500 would still be very good.

The 6,000 figure includes season tickets, so that's an extra 3,000 on the night.

I've never really thought  about this, which of the two is reported as the actual attendance for a match?

Actual attendance is reported, not number of tickets sold.

I’d have thought it would be risky to have budgeted on 5000 or more.

I don't know for sure but I think the budget I'd based on projected attendances depending on opposition . A Saturday match against a low ranking team from the south would  not have the same kind of attendance as a Saturday match against the likes of Notts County or Chesterfield.

Am sure that Felipe noche and all the other JF supporters don’t put this down to anything other than seeing Hollywood’s elite coming to town, and it will be 3000 screaming schoolgirls/boys/lawnmowers trying to get a fadunkle of Ryan Reynolds

I can’t make tomorrow but gave my seat to someone who’s having a bit of a tough time and can’t get to many games

We need to have a good product to sell to the public.  We are in the entertainment business.

This season we have exciting games, winning matches, great goals, high drama and comebacks.  Not to mention attractive football, skillfull players and good teamwork.

A better match day experience makes the whole day more enjoyable and profitable for the Club. The Fanzone, better food and drink and easier ticket purchasing all encourage fans.

All this helps to get bums on sets. Building on success. Fans are going home happy after many years of failure.
