A really enjoyable listen and impressive stuff again from Jason and Andrew. A few takeaways:

Safe standing is being looked at as an option for next season

The previous regime didn’t spend the 400k they received for the youth setup on the youth setup. What a surprise.

Adam Smith has made a very good impression

Jason didn’t appreciate the booing of the team’s choice to take the knee from a minority. He doesn’t understand why anyone would boo and anti-racism gesture and would welcome anyone explaining it to him. Plenty of threads on here without a reasonable explanation so I won’t hold my breath.

There are other successful GY people out there who have been in touch and they might be utilised at some point

Debbie has made a great impact in her role so far.

Andrew and Jason have very complimentary skill sets and are working on separate parts of the organisation.

Once again I can’t believe how lucky we are to have them.

Just caught up with this, once again a really good listen in terms of content and aspiration.

We might not be snapping players up for 6 figure fees and paying huge wages and though clearly wealthy they don’t have the resources of Hollywood stars or overseas investors in a “project” but we do have 2 people who really care and have the experience & expertise to take us forward.

Great - Lincoln have some bus shelter type structures to fill in the gaps next to the very small side stand at Sincil - a couple of those in the open corners at the Pontoon end would be good - make the admission price cheaper for those areas.

Why not just take the seats out of the Pontoon?

Because safe standing is a seat rail rather than a terrace. Pettit confirmed that it would not increase our capacity.

I personally think any standing capacity should be done to increase our capacity. At least then it has a chance of paying for itself in big games.

Whether that involves an open terrace being installed in the Pontoon corners or the Pontoon seats being used in those corners.

Makes sense to fill the corner in as it also removes the cost of taking those seats out too.

BP has never been the same since it lost the corner stands the atmosphere generated by them was great.

Agree about the corners for seating but for me any standing would have to go in the Pontoon. The difference it makes when there’s a great atmosphere in there spreads around the ground and transfers onto the pitch.

Agree with Vance. Was another interesting interview.

Sad fùcker that I am, the bit I got REALLY interested in was the discussion near the end about the impact of paperless ticketing (which isn’t being considered yet) on ticket collectors.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

This is a discussion topic I guess for those who collect memorabilia and the likes. I’ve got my Wembley 98 tickets but don’t have any past that point for Wembley, possibly a 2008 one in a drawer somewhere.

So they issue tickets, actual tickets for games like the champions league final or euro final? Or are they all electronic? It’s much easier but a fan I guess you’d like the souvenir…
