But that’s because they’ve introduced weird systems in America…fining people without a pot to urine in is futile, you and I both know that.

I could t give a intercourse either but your assuming that players have refused to be jabbed…regardless of that being their right, as many shouted this morning, perhaps many are waiting for their second jab…

Unfortunate timing for those who had booked and not the start anyone would’ve wanted to the season. Fingers crossed nobody is unwell.
Unfortunately with 30000 cases a day, football will be affected.

To be honest, I was going down there hoping we scored a meaningful goal, one worth celebrating after being away so long…hadn’t even thought of the result…

On the bright side gives us another week to get a striker on board and injured players to recover.

The only reason the game is off has to be that not enough, or say, not 16 are vaccinated…

How big is our first team squad? I'm going to assume we have 24 and 3 of those are goalkeepers.

At the last count we had something like 8 players on the treatment table, so before you throw Covid into the equation we had 13 first team outfield players available for the matchday 16.

There seems to be double standards at work here. Games get called off because some players test positive for covid, yet hundreds of thousands of fans packed into every football stadium hosting a match at the weekend. Not much signs of mask wearing and obviously no social distancing at all.

Have restrictions been lifted, or haven't they?

For those who have booked advance train tickets you should be able to get a refund as an e-voucher, or change booking with no fee.  (I booked ours with LNER and have got an e-voucher refund to use for next train tickets we need.)


P.S.  No chance of a train back after a 19.45 kick-off though !

I hadn't  yet sorted out trains/network card, so it's just the ticket (which has yet to arrive in the post).
In any case,  I can probably make a midweek fixture from the south coast.

I assume you know but just in case, you can return unused tickets for a refund.
