Here I was all afternoon thinking Ginny and Les were on scouting duty in Scotland. Mariner 91then tells us he's undercover ( otherwise he would have mentioned it early ) in Scotland. So a Scotish lad must be in the offering!

Bug ger me Hurst spolis the plot with the signing of Hunt and someone else who is close. So I'm back on the wine and my sincere best wishes to our 'scouts' who I hope enjoy their hols in Scotland.

The midges are even friendlier.

Been up here for over 3 weeks and hardly seen a midge. Granted, it's too windy for them where we are at present, which is s couple of miles outside Kirkwall overlooking the sea.

There is currently a super yacht berthed near us that apparently once belonged to a Russian oligarch, but is currently being hired by Tom Criuse and family, who is on a break from filming in England.

People are lining up to take photo's of it.

Tom on a cruise?

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

I did think of a pun along those lines, but thought it too lame. Would have helped if I'd spelled Cruise correctly.

Just looked up said boat online and you can hire it for a mere 583,000 Euros plus expenses, per week.

I saw Cindy Crawford flicking through the CDs in the Rock Foundation on Freemo earlier today.

On the last cruise (my first) that we went on, we say a rather nice boat/yacht moored in Bergen, Norway. I looked online and it could be hired for 1.2 millions Euros per week. It did take 14 passengers so it could be split 14 ways I suppose.

This is that yacht we saw in Bergen.

As I said it's 1.2 million Euros per week to hire and takes 12 guests. (1.4 millions euros with "expenses")

You do get a crew of 28 to look after you for the week though.

Anyone up for clubbing together to hire it?
