Similar in my organisation.

Plenty of my female colleagues play and watch football but not women's club football. Although some support Arsenal Ladies yet Spurs Men!


A colleague of mine is a really good player but when I’ve spoken to her about watching women’s football her response is always…’why would I? It’s slow and boring and not very entertaining’.

Perhaps interest will grow as will the financial involvement which will ultimately lead to higher standards you’d imagine but I think they’re way off…
