A drop of two levels. About right? If he scores a hatful there, it will be interesting to see what happens in January.

If his wage here is relatively low, Stourbridge may well be paying 100% of his wages, whereas for the duration of the loan it could be costing us nothing so can be considered as good as him leaving.

I've got one of those claw things for picking up dog waste going spare. I could use that to pick them up to put in the skip

I don't blame the players, I blame the idiot that signed them.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Well, you wouldn't get a skip big enough to get his ego in.

Not surprised he’s gone on loan. He has a 3 year deal (2 left) so isn’t going to just leave unless we pay that up (or most of it).

Lower teams may struggle with his wages to take him FT… so makes sense to get him out of the door on loan.

All Town aren’t we

stourbridge are semi pro so am guessing they'd only be paying 100-200 quid per week at best, especially as we are anxious to get him off our books

Yep, good luck to him. He scores 10/15 by Jan and he might be worth a go in the first team, or someone might come & take him off our hands. If he doesn’t, we’ve not lost out.

Fair play to the lad, for all the OTT grief he got about his baby shower last season he at least showed some willing & went out on loan to play. Think he’s got a better work ethic than some of the more seasoned pros who seem content to just mooch about, perennially “injured”, draining a hefty wage out of the club. Yes you, Williams/Rose/Scanell.

He's gone back to the level he came from. They play at the same level as Cleethorpes Town. Vernon scored over 30 in their last full season. If he's banging them in by Christmas still, he might be worth bringing back...

No. Cleethorpes are at step 4 (Northern Premier League Division 1 East). Stourbridge are at step 3 (Southern League Premier Division Central).
