The only chance we have of remaining in the league is if Derby go pop too.

But it won't happen and shouldn't happen. Our squad is being built for non-league and pre-season is shaped around non-league. It would add unnecessary pressures to Hurst and the board.

We would also be known as the club that got away with it.

Far from it. Some male private head decided it would be okay to rebuild White Hart roundabout, Gablecross roundabout and the M4 J15 roundabout at Swindon simultaneously.

Oh and on Swindon Town…

Court case on going. Lee Power has been ordered to sell club. He’s just having his final little two fingers up to the supporters.

Just spent 5 minutes on their forum and didn't realise what a shambles they are. Takeover imminent and no manager in place - they're actually mentioning Holloway as a contender.
How much would that make me laugh if he appeared and said he was buying a stake in the club!!!!

This is another club in the 'look how far they have fallen' category with a squandered legacy.

When they got into the Prem with Hoddle in charge you could see them becoming a team who maybe weren't permanent prem level but would always be there or thereabouts. Lots to build on. They transformed the ground and looked set fair.

Then the d*ckheads got involved.

Sounds a sad situation.  Chief Executive has quit and fled the sinking ship, Rent not paid since April 2020, Players and staff not been paid for June yet, No Manager, Pre-season and training has been put back a couple of weeks and looks like they are going to be put on a transfer embargo.
Survival is going to be essential for them but even if they do think they are going to be for a long season.

Think that the point he was making us. We finished last and therefore not reprieved. We were hopeless and embarrassing from top to bottom last season so we fully deserve to be in non league.

Are there any decent Swindon players that want out who are looking for a regular wage?

Surely with the non-payment of wages, it voids any contract a player has with the club? If wages are not paid, it should mean a player is free to leave.
