Please, please... I like Shaun Pearson in a lot of ways too, but he has been playing in the National League for years now, and probably for a reason. He found his level. Someone higher up the football pyramid would have offered him a contract by now if he had the skills needed. We need to aim higher at the sort of player like Menayese is. Someone that could play at a higher level than the NL is what is needed to get out of the NL.
There is no chance that Hurst will sign him, so move on.

Get him back, give him an eight year deal on 8k a week, give him the freedom of the Town, make sure he never buys another drink in NEL again, he bleeds black and white, the most committed player since Bobby Cummings, this lot aren't fit to lace his boots etc. etc. etc.

One of the nicest players and people to play for Town in recent times. I see his posts on Twitter from time to time and it looks like he and his family are thriving which is great to see.

On another note he wasn’t in the starting 11 for the play off’s when we got promoted, enough said IMHO.
