I agree with the first part of this , but what can the trust do if the deal does not happen ?

I think Caveman’s got a point. If the deal doesn’t go through I can see revenue plummeting. Enough people have had enough of Fenty. The danger is then that the club’s downward spiral will get worse, and there will be a crisis a year or two down the line. We could well be in regional football with an even lower income.

At some point a decision will need to be made.

The consortium knew there was every chance if us going out the league, we are well aware of the Xmas statements regarding the repayment of his Royal Highnesses loans, so relegation won't stop the deal being finalised.
Yesterday on RH Matt Dean stated the EFL have completed their checks and the "Fit and Proper Persons" test has been passed and the deal is now with the Takeover Board (whoever they are).
