Saw him play, got his autograph.

A great player.

RIP

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Amazing record, a goal every three games is pretty good for a winger, there are strikers who had worse records. Bremner and Lorimer were mustard down that right hand side.

Nice chap, only met him once when he ran a pub in Leeds about the time of the bankruptcy scandals. RIP Peter.

I wonder how much Peter would cost these days?

Sad day I think.

Cracking player. My favourite as a young kid. Used to practice my volleying by copying him. Scored some unbelievable goals. Link to a few of them below. Leeds through and through..

RIP Lasher

That’s Hunter, Charlton & now Lorimer all passing within the past year from that ‘great’ Revie inspired era for Leeds.

All of these were just slightly before my time, although I was particularly saddened when Colin Bell left us recently.

I guess more and more of our childhood ‘heroes’ be it Town or Imps and from our Panini sticker books, will be next ... sadly.

RIP all 😞
