Not having the best of optimist weeks and feeling rather pessimist about the drop I'm trying to find some positives for tonight.

Macca played well on his comeback so that is something to be thankful for and up to half time we looked half good. And then theirs's err, err, err well I'll think of something but what I don't know.

The score line could be a positive, after all anything less than a 5 goal margin would be an improvement when we last played Tranmere last. Then theirs the number of subs used, if we use less than the last time we met you could construe that as an improvement.

So my undying support tells me it's a WIN. As somebody post, one day I will be right.

Really stiff breeze blowing from Pontoon end judging by my walk along the seafront. Could be a game of two halves as they say and the ball could be spending a lot of time in the air. Don't know if that would suit us or not.

Not expecting a win, so if we get one, it would be a pleasant surprise.

The last homes games with the wind favoured the opposition, we couldn't master it.

Hurst has to go for it tonight, a point is not much use to us now.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

I thought we were in with a real chance of getting 3 points against Colchester, I have absolutely no belief we’ll get anything from tonight. I really hope I’m wrong......

Think we'll grind out "a good point" in difficult conditions.

As previously posted points need to be 3, we are playing catch up. Anything less we lose, not just the match but our EFL status.
