I understand many of you are demoralised at the moment but imagine if you were Man City supporters...

- You’re 14 points clear of an average Man Utd side
- You lost to that average Man Utd side last week
- Your squad is so strong and so expensively assembled that, in a compacted season, your reserves would have won the Premier League
- Your only realistic rivals at the start of the season have imploded due to a mixture of fatigue, lack of rotation, lack of investment and injuries
- You are going to win the Premier League comfortably whilst probably tøssing off the last couple of months to concentrate on the cups
- You are favourites to win the Champions League, despite only once reaching the semi finals in your history
- Every other major European rival, with the exception of Bayern, are a complete basket case at the moment
- You will still probably lose to Bayern or Chelsea
- Whilst never deconstructing a child’s flag, your owners concentrate on other types of human rights abuse and money laundering

Imagine the pressure, nerves and guaranteed disappointment you would be feeling as a City fan over the next couple of months.

Every point gained for Town now is a bonus as far as I am concerned. I’m almost as resigned as Stephen Marley. But things will improve at some point in the future.
