Sad to hear Murray Walker has passed away.

A F1 Grand Prix commentator legend, RIP.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Yes a great man to listen to made a lot of mistakes but did it with great humour.

RIP Murray you will be missed by many.

RIP. It was a great pleasure to hear his commentaries and wisdom of the sport. Nobody will ever replace him, an absolute genius at what he did.

So well respected in the sport. You never heard him criticise F1 and I only ever remember him praising drivers. A lot of them like Damon Hill and Nigel Mansell will really miss him because he nurtured their careers. RIP Murray. You’ll have a grandstand view now.

Nail hit firmly on the head there Pete.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.
