On hearing the news that Michael Jolley had been sacked by Barrow, it allowed me to post the ‘He’s not the Messiah, he’s a very Naughty boy!’ Clip (any excuse) on the thread on the other side.

It got me and a friend chatting via text and he mentioned the Monty Python argument sketch which I’d never seen before. Anyway I watched it and it’s brilliant.

It got me thinking we could do with a thread in which people could post their favourite comedy moments /sketches etc..

So what are yours?

There's so many.....

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Is this the right board for an argument?

Of course it is it's the Fishy.

And when you fall back into the mud it hurts a lot.
No! None of it was true, none of those things we thought we could see existed at all.
All that was really there was still more misery

This one seems apt for some of the political arguments that occur on the fishy.

Good idea Sandford.

So many to choose from I don’t know where to begin, other than to stick with Python. The funniest joke in the World:

And the one about Mr ‘Hilter’ on the election trail in Minehead

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.
