I wish I never, it might have meant I saw more action behind the bike shed than I actually did!

No way! The Rwanda plan was unlawful - who would have guessed that? And on a day which started with good news about inflation - so cruel that no-one will be talking about that on the news today.

Inflation that has gone down in no part whatsoever due to anything the government has done. Just a drop in energy prices, innit. And it's still more than double the target rate. Oh, and we're all getting screwed into the ground by interest rates as well.

The headbangers of the Tory right are now going on about leaving the ECHR, despite the fact that the Rwanda plan would have been rejected for breaking various other aspects of international law.

Oh, not to mention that the Good Friday agreement is based on ECHR rulings so we'd have to renegotiate the GFA if we wanted to leave the ECHR. Good luck with that when you can't even get the Stormont assembly up and running!

Absolute clownshoes, the lot of them.

Perhaps the new "common sense" minister can sort it out.

Have you ever heard anything more pathetic and desperate?

I’m sure they’ll come up with something equally as embarrassing, if not more so, in the not so distant future. It’s their Modus Operandi!

Why Starmer made calling for a ceasefire a resignation Issue is a bit of a mystery,  the vote was never going to influence Israel either way and ceasefire is the stance supported by most of the British public and a great majority of the Labour Party. He is trying to win over the Tory press who love a good war on assumption if you hate the current crop of useless failures in government who else do you cast your vote for?

A show of weakness from Starmer - both political and moral - not a show of strength. He's a political pygmy in so many ways and is definitely the establishment's man-in-waiting.

Despite that, he's worlds ahead of anything the Tories can offer. Things will improve under a New New Labour government, when we eventually get one, but not nearly as much as they need to.
