That's an excellent wedge - some big clubs interested in him as well if the media rumours are to be believed.

What a surreal month this could be if it turns out that a professional fraudster and Russell Slade turn out to be the best things to have happened to the club in decades. Increasingly like a League Two Harchester United with each new development.

Assume that will depend on how Posh receives the transfer fee and as most fees are spread out I assume we will get it over a period as well. But as long as the money is coming in it can be included in the revenue budget and should be a great boost going forward.

All we need now is to start winning a few matches and things will look very bright indeed.

If the numbers banded about are true, the fee we'll get will probably cover at least half of our entire wage budget this season.

Crazy how Russell Slade and John Fenty have somehow managed to give us something to cheer about.
