Have to disagree I’m afraid. I know times are emotional, but I would think he got a record number of bites in a very short time. Sad act for sure, but certainly getting what he wants. I have a strange feeling he may somehow be connected to Pen Penfras. Pseudonym easily worked out and linked to the hierarchy at BP. I would be genuinely astounded if either of them are who they may appear to some to be. Trolls really need to be ignored, they hate that. But in these times the fishing is easy and record catches are achievable 🤔 UTM
I've posted on here for years, just because somebody shows up as a WUM for one day doesn't make them connected to me, nor does my opinions being different to the majority, which until 3 weeks ago was the vocal minority, make me a WUM. I've openly said, from very early on that Fenty should sell up and let somebody else have a go at running the club. That doesn't mean that I'm going to jump to him being a criminal because he naively got involved with a fraudster. I'll wait for some actual evidence of that before deciding that way. And it's worth bearing in mind that yes, the club/Fenty's behaviour of negotiating in public is destabilising and bad for the club, but the incoming consortium have been just as guilty of this in doing to leverage their position. Two wrongs don't make a right.

You do realise that 17% is a relatively small amount, don’t you?
Shut up. He's got that business acumen thing, and we aint, cos we're a bunch of Shameless wannabes who should just keep handing over our money to Fenty and his cronies and be bloody grateful that they allow us to support their football club.

Even though plenty of people bought into the consortium statement, believing it to be genuine, plenty remained sceptical. Not the biggest straw poll conducted I grant you, but still quite revealing. 16 people were not convinced the consortium statement was genuine, plus 1 was certain it was a hoax. Let that sink in. That’s 17% of fans surveyed really not sold on the notion that the consortium have chosen to conduct a multi million pound business transaction in public.
I’ve found my 24 hours on this website quite interesting. It’s quite educational to see the myriad of opinions. Although it shouldn’t provide any element of hilarity, it’s also quite comical to read some of the reply’s and gauge the level of business acumen, or lack of it, that some people have with their highly simplistic press of a button views. If only life was that simple hey.
Look it matters not who I am. Just like many, if not most of the people on here, I’m an ordinary Grimsby Town fan. I hardly see a single one of you that writes under their own name. Struggling to remember one.
I’m appreciative of the incumbent owner for keeping the club I love going. I would be equally appreciative of anyone else who comes in and takes over. As long as they are doing it for the right reasons and that they will support the club on a sound financial footing, as equally well or grander than what John Fenty has.
Let’s hope for a conclusion to all of this soon, in order that these distractions can be put behind us, and let’s hope for a good managerial appointment to improve our fortunes on the pitch.

| In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions. Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them. GOD |

He'll have to wipe the excrement off his tongue first.

Sung in the style of Simon and Garfunkel's sound of silence:
Hello Upper Findus pi**house our old friend We may never p*ss your way again Because some stadia softly creeping Left its seeds while we were sleeping And the stadia that was planted in our brains Still remain Within the sounds of Stockwood
In restless dreams we walked alone Narrow streets of Blundell stone 'Neath the halo of floodlight lamps We turned our collars to the cold and damp When our eyes were stabbed by the flash of a Shutey light That split the night And stirred the sound of silence
And in the naked light we saw 14000 people maybe more People p*ssing without queueing No more posts whilst they were viewing People singing songs that that had long since not been heard As no-one cared To once more disturb the sound of silence
Some fools said you-you do not know Unrest like a cancer grows Hear our voice that might reach you Hear our words that might teach you But their words like silent raindrops fell On Old Blundell No more the sound of silence
And the fans then bowed and preyed To the new sausage god they've made And the signs flashed out their warnings In the words they were forming And the signs of the fans are written on the district's walls All over scrawled No more the sound....of silence.

'I walked in the dressing room. The window was open and I thought that a sea fret had got in. Then I saw smoke billowing from a pipe in the corner of the room...it was my centre-forward. He looked seven stone wet through. He went on to score thirty-odd goals that season.' Lawrie McMenemy on encountering the legend that was Matt Tees.

Well you have given us some entertainment for the day bye.
My first name everybody knows my second name will be told to you if you tell me yours.
Although many on here already know it because we are more than just random fans on a internet site.
