Ahead of the match tomorrow, I won’t be watching but thought it would be worth starting a thread to clarify in terms of where the iFollow money goes.

Even if you buy via Oldham’s iFollow, I gather that the money from the first 500 passes bought via the away team’s iFollow goes to the home club (so in our case to John Fenty).

Anyone able to clarify that 100%?

That's correct the first 500 away fans money goes to the away side anything over that goes to the home side.

Best not to pay anything until Fenty is gone.

Hopefully it will not be long now.

I'm sure someone can post a link to a stream. Or there's always the radio.

I stopped buying the "Video Match Pass" last game and will continue to do so until things change.

Where's the "Listen Live" option (I've payed the £45) I can't find it?

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

But surely if you buy it through their site it won't register as an away team purchase.

Good point, if everyone went via Oldham then Town wouldn’t get a penny surely?

https://www.manchestereveningn.....e-explained-18975658 Just stumbled across this. So yes, if everyone bought via Oldham’s iFollow then the first 500 away purchases would go to Fenty. Then after 500, it goes to Oldham.

Getting mixed up. It's a home fixture. Was thinking it was an away fixture.

Best thing is just not to purchase at all.

i think that because you go via the oldham site you are automatically registered as an away follower. The revenue from the first 500 sales from Oldham go GTFC,once they have exceeded 500 sales the revenue then starts going to Oldham.
the other thing to bear in mind that we are one of the biggest sellers of ifollow, with about 1100 sales (?). but most teams will get over 500, so by buying via Oldham the money is more than likely to end up in the Latics' pockets rather than Fenty's
