We don't have a pre-season and our players aren't fit enough to play. Halford doesn't have football for 18 months and goes straight into Southend's squad, comes on, scores.

Let's be honest, he did intercourse all apart from steer a very weak header straight at Russell which he should have saved comfortably. He's not even a striker and I'm pretty sure if we'd signed him to play there we would have been very disappointed.

Oh how I wish we had a player who does nothing but scores a goal and walks off the pitch on the winning side.

I agree, I mean why didn't he go up to the ref, apologise and ask him to disallow it.

good at rolling about on floor you can tell he played most of his career amongst a set of cheats, ball hits back of his head sticks in mud & still goes in through keepers legs
