The extract from the article which I quoted originally said season 2018-29 had been curtailed by Covid. The sneaky leftist buggers have corrected it.

I never suggested they did.  I merely pointed out that an organisation that exists solely for health reasons has 1.5 million staff and has apparently been brought to its knees by 15,000 patients.

Not everyone who works at a council empties the bins and you wouldn’t blame the planning permission office if they didn’t empty your bins.

I have no idea what that means. The NHS has only one job-the health of the nation. Surely they expect an increase in hospital admissions around now as it happens every year.
