Tommy Widdrington is the strong favourite

Where’s Jolley in that list?

I reckon Tisdale will get that and would probably do a good job with them.

There was a quick snipe from the Scunny chairman in his interview the other night about Hurst....about having to pay him for another 2 yrs even though he was sacked for not delivering targets......so i doubt Hurst is particularly skint as is still getting paid, presumably quite well by Scunny and i would think he got a bit of a pay off from Ipswich prior to that.

Why rush back to work in these crazy times, probably to a League 2 club...or at best League 1 that will undoubtedly be plagued by money worries, limited budgets and maybe even paying less than he is earning by sat at home.

I wonder if Hurst stops getting paid by Scunthorpe once he gets another club. Can't blame him for seeing out this current situation if so.

I think that’s the issue here, regardless of holloway potentially being interested, I’m not sure he’s what they’re looking for.

They didn’t want him last year, not sure what would change in that time.

Well their choice has turned out to be crap so clearly they made a mistake.

That's entirely Swann's fault. If he didn't but a reasonable break clause in the contract, he can hardly blame anybody else for that.

Wasn't Swann quoted as saying that Hurst's sacking was nothing to do with football

They should have stuck with Hurst. He'd have come good for them. Instead, they're paying him anywat and have an inferior manager in place. Absolutely wonderful IMO

Didn't we pay Buckly for the best part of 2 years @£3k a week?
