I don't think it will be done on that alone. iFollow revenue is plugging some of the gap and how much it plugs will vary club to club. Season tickets were non-refundable so again, that plugs some of the gap and will again vary club to club.

Some clubs will still be miles over the salary cap, particularly ones like Scunthorpe who went on a spending spree before it was announced.

The aim of this rescue package is to stop clubs going under so I think our prudent financial management will see us receive very little.

That’s how it’s been done in the Conference, don’t expect it to be any different for us. The idea of the bailout is to ensure the lockdown alone doesn’t send clubs under, daft financial decisions before that are their own faults.

The aim of the rescue package is to cover gate losses from the 19/20 and 20/21 seasons. It says so in the statement.

So we won't get a pittance a bit more than some a bit less than others.

That's a fair way to do it.

You're far too nice Pete..

Think we should have the whole 50mill, build a new stadium, brand new training facilities, stop shopping in bargain basement for players and pay any outstanding loans off..

I hope not. That just rewards over spenders.

I hope not too but with overspending comes greed and they will be begging for more money, stating that they desperately need it but they will probably spend it on new players once January comes.

I'm thinking of the usual suspects here that throw money around and sack managers every 5 minutes.
