What would you expect him to be doing?

Handstand, forward roll then dismount?

I am surprised Holloway hasn't brought in a head of recruitment to put the cones out on a Saturday afternoon yet.

This thread began with the words “Just curious”. How can asking a simple question be negative BS? Do you have an answer or are you just being a clever bu99er doing some stirring?

I know that Limbrick has been working hard and is seen as a valuable member of the coaching staff. The same goes for Ben Davies and Greg Howard.

You may also be surprised to know, as I was, that Wilko was seen as the main reason we stayed up the season when Slade was sacked and Jolley came in.

Wilkinson's reputation was definitely damaged by association with Slade.

In his first spell here he was instrumental in bringing on a good number of young professionals Lennie Lawrence brought in to bridge the gap we had with a lack of youth team graduates.  Simon Ford, Chris Thompson, Chris Bolder and Graham Hockless all progressed with him in charge of the reserves.

Fair enough it's hardly the Class of '92 but in the short time he had he brought through a number of players who went onto feature the first team.

Then in his second spell, post Slade, it could be argued that he put the foundations in place for Jolley to build upon and create the great escape.  I think it was Cambridge away, the first game after Slade, we were bloody dreadful but looked a hundred times more disciplined straight away.  Doesn't surprise me what ivanosandwich has said, hindsight is wonderful but Jolley's sides were no way near as structured without Wilkinson.

Pretty sure he's got a good reputation in the game as a very good coach too.
