...the best we've seen. Jimmy and Stuart Broad have 400 wickets more than the next two - Botham and Willis. Just noticed that most of England's top pace bowler wicket takers are all born in the north or midlands - Broad is the most southerly in the top 5 - born in Nottingham. I'd assumed Bob Willis was southerner but he was born in Sunderland. After Willis, its Trueman, then Statham and Hoggard. Bedser was medium pace, Caddick is really a Kiwi and then come Gough, Harmison and Flintoff. Southerners not up to the graft I guess...
