Sounds like good news for the fans but how is the last bit going to work?

"The money raised by the streaming fees will be kept by whichever club sells the service in the Championship.

A more complex revenue-sharing formula will be applied in League One and League Two due to the big disparity in clubs' respective fanbases."

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

What are the implications for iFollow? I’ve got a £140 subscription about to renew, which I understood would have legally allowed me to watch games in the UK whilst fans cannot attend (without any VPN shenanigans).

Theoretically, under this deal I would not need that if I were to purchase a season ticket (which I intend to do). However, we currently don’t know if or when season tickets will be on sale, and then I don’t want the club to be inadvertently out of pocket if I cancel iFollow given they apparently get a 70% - 80% cut of those fees.

Appreciate this is only a tabloid report at this moment in time, but some clear and concise comms will be needed if and when it is confirmed or things could get a bit messy.

Isn't ifollow streamed in conjunction with sky sports?
Surely there is little difference apart from the sat 3 pm games

So would season tickets allow you to watch both home and away or just home games?
Could give a big boost to season ticket sales if away games are free on streaming.

And everybody could build a bar in their front rooms and have 23 changeable club name signs so that we could really think we were away

May as well just pay £10 per game as a casual user, absolutely no value at all in having a season ticket is there?

If away games are included, then it'll be significantly cheaper to watch all the matches, and you'll be first in line to go back to BP when fans are allowed back in. Seems a good deal to me.

Not sure how much a season ticket is, but if someone like me, who would pay £10 to watch every match, that would cost me £460.  Now IF the Daily Mail is correct, then I assume that would save me some money?  BUT, it also says on the article that "season ticket holders will get access to their side's HOME matches free of charge", doesn't say anything about away games.
