I thought they had already been granted planning permission a few months ago, shows what I know.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Good luck to tree hugger.....shows what you can do if you have the backing, commitment and funding to see your ideas through.  Obviously hope it turns out to be white elephant and brings on the demise of his club but at least he isnt fcking about in getting a new stadium built.

We will have to pull down the main stand because it is wood, they build a stadium out of wood.  How does that work?

Fire retardant timber.

I think their stadium design and materials choice is brilliant.

When I worked at BP 20 odd years ago I helped them clean the ground after each match. I was the only one who was OK going underneath the main stand due to the feeling of claustrophobia, but honestly, you would not believe how many cigarette butts were thrown down the gaps in the wooden boards, considering how dry the timbers were. It was amazing that we never had another incident like at Bradford. Really was scary.

35yrs ago & an unfortunate reference.
Technology has moved on massively.
I'm sure their stadium will meet the highest standards in safety.
Shows what can be achieved.

It's knot fair others getting new stadiums when we are still miles away from getting one.

It's no big deal.

No attempt at ethical or social seduction can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred of the Tory party. So far as I'm concerned they're lower than vermin. Aneurin Bevan.
