That West Indian spinner is a big lad. Bowling spin off three strides is OK but putting him at 1st slip is a strange one, getting down to a thick edge at boot height might be interesting. That said sprinting round the boundary isn't an ideal spot either. Forward short leg where his width could be a bonus might be the answer

They were saying on commentary that he catches absolutely everything so there might be some logic there.

He is a massive unit though.

Makes Samit Patel who was often not picked By England because of his weight issues, look positively skinny In comparison.
Cornwall looks decent enough though to be fair.

I'll reserve judgement until he dives to his left and takes one ankle high

Good score after losing a wicket in the 1st over.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Fair point! He’s just shelled a sitter. Dowrich maybe should have gone for it but still. He looks well short of confidence.

Bumble is absolutely brilliant-I’m with you there. Love his ‘around the world in 80 pints’  book. Yet to read his autobiography yet.
