I don’t like to say it but all this statue attacking and defending has been instigated, by error, by the police in Bristol last weekend. If they had done what they get paid to do and kept public order and stopped the vandalism of a statue, then everybody would have known what was allowed and what wasn’t.

Went past earlier on my way home from my daily walk. All baseball caps and Stone Island, getting tanked up and spoiling for a fight. Pathetic really.

A total embarrassment  if you were associated with the "Protectors"

State of the blokes running towards to the peaceful BLM protest today at Cleethorpes. Thugs just wanting to cause trouble. Chanting town songs. Proper sad. Anyway, congrats to the peaceful, socially distanced protest.

No doubt the GT will latch on to the football element & GTFC.
Sad state of affairs.

I’d like to see my days out up there Ginny, when I finish my job on the railway (when I’m around 63-65) 13-15 years time I’m hoping to move to Fort William mate.

Would be great to see an anti racist fan movement at our club, not one that comes from the league or the club.
I often wonder how welcoming Town games are if you’re not white and straight.

Especially when you have posters saying this:

"Is there racism in Grimsby or Cleethorpes ?  I've never seen it- so i don't see the point of this march. They are the same protesters who protest about everything from stickers on jam jars to willies on jelly babies."

I like ya post match posts, HM - interesting reading for exiles like myself.  

Like myself, I’m sure you have seen non-whites at away matches that are not family/friends of Town players. I have never seen any hassling or abuse of these people.

Black Town players have often attained cult status - Big Keith, Bogle and even the unproven Rose has his plaudits.  So the race issue among Town fans may be overblown.

Yes we have racist fans. Just like most other clubs. As a whole, are Town fans racist?  No. The number of whites supporting BLM is evidence of this. I hope
