Tell me who your favourite Grimsby player of all time is... without actually using their name.

Feel free to guess each others!

Mine is a tough-tackling central midfielder who played for us from 1999 to 2004. He also sported a Newcastle United badge which was tattooed to his calf!

Powerful striker, known for his heading ability that did really well at Town over a number of seasons before moving on.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Best target man Town have had in years and a goal machine, just very slow. One half of a formidable striking partnership and a major factor in the last time we challenged for promotion in the FL.

Get in there.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.
