That Workington game sticks in my mind. A very frustrating game where nothing went right until Tees took matters into his own hands. A harmless looking cross and Sir Matt went down like a sack of spuds. The referee pointed to the spot much to the amusement of the Pontoon. Tees jumped up..winked to the Pontoon and stuck the penalty away.


The aim of argument or discussion should not be victory but progress.

Oh that first game 4-1, Sir Matt superb. Was there when we lost 3-2 to Swindon and went down by 0.007 of a goal. Then stood watching the next seasons in the boys stand. Getting beaten mote often then not. Then we got Sir Matt back.. 7 000 watched against Cambridge. Lawie Mcmenemy came in "who the skinny guy smoking a pipe" "he's the clubs main striker" Lawrie thought god help us. The rest is history. Only a true Grimbarian and Meggie will know what the Dock Tower is and if you work in Windsor Lego land.
