With EFL changing the rules to allow the leagues to finish how does this effect the players who’s contract finishes on that date, will clubs be forced to blood young players if this happens

We will not be playing before August at the very least so it won't matter.

Genuine question Pete - What makes you so sure?

Just seen something further to this on SSN.

When a players contract ends on 30th June the club are obliged to pay them for a further 28 days as a severance payment if they haven't signed for another club or make up the difference in pay if they have signed for another club but on less money.

Should be fairly easy to agree a deal with PFA to get players to work (play) during what is in effect a 28 day notice period. So, players out of contract should be fine up until 28th July. After that date might be trickier and require individual agreements.
