The BBC is reporting that £50 million is to be made available or allocated to EFL clubs.

Grimsby to get £164K of Prem funding and a loan of £120K interest-free funding.  

This level of funding applies to all Div 2 clubs.

The Prem money must have been expected, but not the loan.  It all helps.

Why wouldn't we? Its interest free, if anything take it and stick it in the bank with the intention of paying it back unless there is a need for it (which there may well be the way things are going).

Actually a good point that...yes bank it and gather the interest to help boost the next seasons budget...should be able to make £1k in interest if we hold onto it for a year.
