Premier League
Liverpool to be named champions. It's only fair, they've been good to watch and Klopp has amazing teeth
City and Leicester into the champions league places 2 and 3
Lampard and Solskjaer will play rock, paper, scissors for the final CL place. Live on sky with 2 hours of build up and 2 hours of analysis afterwards
Rest of the prem is abandoned

Championship - abandoned so we can all laugh at Leeds missing out again. Hull are relegated by using the current form table to calculate the outcome
League one - nobody cares
League two - Swindon and Crewe are promoted because they're very good and we don't want to play them next season. Plymouth also promoted because it's too far to travel.
Stevenage are relegated for so many reasons it would take too long to list them all
Macclesfield and Oldham enter administration and start next season with 18 point deductions. The standard penalty plus a bit just to make sure
Is anyone else really bored with no footy?

Looks most likely like they will postpone Euro 2020 to allow time to complete this season.

I think they should cancel it altogether.  WC qualifiers usually start this September, and there's always more of them in June, so next summer is already full.  There's the nations league too.  Unfortunately FIFA and UEFA have the entire year, every year, absolutely jam-packed with football, that now this virus thing has happened, there's no room to move.  Cancel it, extend the domestic seasons, and start the 20/21 season later if need be.

This season needs completing no matter what. Whether that’s by extending regular season into May or June or by reconvening the season in July or August or whenever. Then agree before hand what (A shortened) 2020/21 will be and after a short break for organising fixtures crack on with that season. If it meant a 4 week gap in September then that could be filled by playing EFL Trophy group games and EFL Cup first round matches on Saturdays.

The integrity of English football would be tarnished if this season was voided.

As an example. Norwich are 6 point adrift of 17th. Should they be relegated? Leicester were further adrift at this stage in 2015 and they were champions a year later. League seasons should be completed. No ifs no buts.

With the World Cup in winter there’s no need to complete qualifying by the end of 2021 as would normally happen. The current plan of qualifying up to April 2022. That could be extended even further into June or even September. All the Qatar World Cup stadiums are within a short distance of each other so the normal logistics issue for team bases doesn’t exist.

Euro 2020 has to happen as I have 4 tickets for England v Croatia.

We don’t know if this will be done by August yet so why bother thinking about even organising it? Priority is to finish this season imo. If it was nine games into the season fair enough but nine from the end is hugely unfair on the clubs in the upper reaches of all tables. Get this one done and play next season without domestic cup competitions. Euro 2020 to be played in 2021.

Agreed. There's no way you can void off a season, the ramifications would be ridiculous.

And aye, I expect the Euros to be put back to 2021 (possibly tomorrow?). They can sack off some Nations League or something.

Cancel the season and play each division as a knock out competition to decide champions and promotion- wont hurt the players to play twice a week after their holidays. Local leagues did something similar in the early sixties. We would then have a chance of promotion and Liverpool , Man Utd,Spurs relegated

Brilliant discussion last night on sky sports about what could/should happen. As quite rightly said, Liverpool given the title, at least then there will be something else on social media except bat flu

But, it gets complicated (to end the season now) with the remaining positions. Are Man City taking second spot and allowed into the champs league? Man Utd lay in fifth spot and would take the final CL place but, sheff Utd have a game in hand that, if won, would move them above Man Utd. Same at the bottom of the table, villa have a game in hand which would move them out of the relegation zone.

I'm surprised at the naivety of most of these posts in that you are all assuming that these decisions willl be made by football people for football reasons! All of these decisions will be made with sponsors and TV income in mind. If Sky want the Premier League to be completed via mud wrestling matches between mangers in a Monday night tournament in July, that is what will happen!
FIFA and UEFA will make their decisions based on what McDonalds and Coke and Visa want.
Liverpool will be champions because they are a major draw on pay TV (globally) and denying them the championship would put subscriptions at risk from all their 'supporters' who couldn't point to Anfield on a map. Leeds will go up - Sky want all the old rivalries (Man U, Arsenal and Liverpool) so they can sell more subscriptions.
The World Cup is the second most watched sporting event behind the Olympics. Everyone will bend over backwards to make it happen.
And someone said we could could "sack off" the nations league etc - never in a million years, too much sponsorship money involved.

Because of the tv companies and sponsors I think the current season will be finished (the tv companies have paid for games)

I suspect there's a lot more money on the line for domestic tv rights than there is for the nations league.

You can't just 'give Liverpool the title' otherwise it means every club's finishing position is final and that's not fair on those in the relegation zone or just outside the automatic spots in the EFL.

Voiding the whole season is the only fair solution for me but no idea how that would affect qualification for Europe next season and the replacement of Bury.

Does it really matter if/when the football season ends? People's lives and livelihoods are at stake here.

Sport seems insignificant in the grand scheme of things.

Of course it's insignificant in the grand scheme of things, but I think it's ok to care about more than one thing.

And sport is plenty of peoples livelihood too.

Yeah, i get that but sport will recover along with everything else eventually. Right now, it's just not important.

Can we have mud wrestling with vice chairmen instead of managers ?  Then I will be supporting West Ham.

If the season kicks off and you and your family are alive and well then that's what matters, not what division or season it is.

The chances are some clubs won't even survive anyway in L1 and L2, which means there will be plenty of space for promotion if necessary.

Rumours that Barnet are being wound up.

Closed the Academy today and a new company Bees Football Ltd set up yesterday.

How is voiding they season ‘fair’ . Just finish the season whenever it can be , even if it’s in the summer or encroaching into next season . That’s about as ‘fair’ as you can get. Deal with the logistics of the following season as best you can . If that means cancelling some cup competitions then do it

Looks like some clubs have already held secret meetings and are ready to launch a legal challenge if they are denied the chance to secure promotion.

You can't give Liverpool the Premiership, because of one simple reason.  They have a 25 point lead, there are 9 games to go, so 27 points to be won!  It is [possible/i] that Liverpool could lose all those 9 games and that Man City [i]could win all their last 9 games, highly unlikely but as the points stand, they are not uncatchable atm.

They aim to complete the season in the summer, that much is clear, now that Euro 2020 has been moved to 2021.

Barnet put staff on notice. Others might follow?

Havnt read all the responses but for my tuppence;

Season must be concluded, sooner the better to ensure that all clubs are in their rightful position for next season. To do this,

All clubs to undergo testing of first team players and staff
Play games behind closed doors until normal season ends (review potential for having attended play offs and finals nearer time)
F.A / Premier League to fund lost gate receipts out of their coffers based on average home attendances of clubs.
