Didn't see what happened, anyone heard how bad it is and how long he could be out?

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Ollie said pain in groin we all have that at some time.

Hopefully not too serious.

Hope Ollie tries something different rather than just sticking Green up top.

I'd go with Vernam as a floating 9.75

I'd give Rose a go up top through the middle.

Or put Clarke central and Vernam back in wide left.

Definitely Clarke in the middle with Vernam back on the wing for me.

We need someone who's got the intelligence to hold the ball up and lead the line.  I think it's important we get Whitehouse back in the midfield too.

If he's fit, bring Max in for Hanson and play Clarke in the middle with Chas left and Max right. It was noticeable on Saturday how we are just less threatening without Hanson, he's our most important player. Remember all those games we played well in before and just after Christmas. Scunny, Macc, most of Carlisle, Orient. We didn't score very many and Hanson wasn't played. He comes back in at Crawley and bang, we start scoring again. He's vital.

Massive blow. None of our other “ strikers” fit to lace his boots. Vernam and Tilley out wide. Billy clarke in the middle. Get charlie running at them

How about we play a simple 442? clarke and green up front, maybe green having someone who can play off him and also hold  play up may help him? im his biggest critic but im sure when he scored all those goals for mansfield he was not playing as a loan striker.
Max and chas on the wings with benson and clifton down the middle.

Stick Waterfall or Ludwig up front and hoof it they’re not great at the back currently

But on a serious note change the shape even if it means 4-5-1 don’t start Green nothing against him but his confidence looks shot to sh1t.

Clarke has to start through the middle from what I’ve seen he’s more than capable of holding the ball up, as for green at the minute couldn’t hold a bag of chips !!!

I’ve read this back and when I said “they’re not very good at the back” I meant Waterfall and Ludwig.

But I know you probably mean 4-5-1 the “1” being Billy who may not be the biggest but he’s the best we’ve got on the ball by a country mile.

Argentine striker.

Played and scored in the FA Cup final at Wembley when John Black was shot and killed on the pitch after the game I believe.

Unfortunately it wasn't 2 Wembley victories in 2 years for the cultured midfield man - he didn't head to the Midlands until 2002. Or maybe 2003. Later on anyway.
