In his first season as Town chairman we finished 18th in League Two. In his (hopefully) last season as Town non-Chairman we finished 17th in League Two. It's a shame he's leaving because at that rate of progress we would be promoted in the 2128/2129 season.

Personally I'd have a more humble approach 'I know I've made mistakes and not got everything right but I tried my best and bankrolled the club with significant amounts of my own hard earned money, I hope people can appreciate that' or suchlike

Then a reference to his own legacy that’d make Kim Jong Il blush. Just get the paperwork signed and disappear off into the sunset.
