No official legs to this at all but a number of whispers going around the internet that Mansfield are trying to sign Omar Bogle!

Mansfield will never sign him. I find it totally bizarre though, if true, that wigan are looking to let Bogle go. He's been there half a season and in that time did far better than the famous will grigg.

Saw Bogle playing for Wigan at QPR and he was their best player that night. Having said that, they were atrocious.

If he's steps down it should be back where he's loved - Town.

I think if he was available there would be takers in L1 for sure.

He'll be on a five figure wage now irrespective of the likely seven figure transfer fee. Twaddle I say!

Get him on loan.

Can you imagine the scenes!!!

I'd be locking myself away for a bit of 'alone time' without a doubt.

The Mrs can take herself shopping!

Genuine question... if he was surplus to requirements at Wigan... would you be happy with the board parting with a million and say £5k a week if it meant getting him back?

Would he fit into Sladey's style of play?

All hypothetical of course and never gonna happen but an interesting debate!

So I thought.

A bloke we know at the match mentioned he apparently returned to Wigan after the summer in really poor physical shape. Quite where he heard the rumour or how truthful this is, I don't know!

The number 9 shirt is reserved for Wilki's comeback.
