Summer field and berrett played 20+ gtfc games last season, so can hardly have been said to barely feature. Boyce Browne n yusuf the 3 front runners by far

My understanding was that the club was trying to negotiate Boyce's leaving and​ that was the delay in offering a contract to Pearce.

Indeed.

Both signed in January.

Both scored in their second game too.

No goals after that (15 games and 9 games (yes, I know some of those were 5 minute sub appearances but I'm stretching a point here!))

And if Yussuf is the player to leave so soon, that's exactly what S & H wanted Duffy to do (the infamous JF "disaster" comment about Duffy, Ademeno and Makofo)!
