Town very much down the list at 33/1 for the title

Swindon and Mansfield current favs at 9/1 but this doesnt include the play off contenders for this season. Next up are Lincoln at 10/1, Cov and Cambridge at 11's and Wycombe, Notts and Colchester at 14/1

These are on skybet

Kinnell!

How do the bookies get to know who is playing for us next season before we do?

Town at 33/1 is tempting.

If Luton go up then most of the big boys are out of the way.

Hopefully we have a decent chunk of the Bogle cash to spend as well.

I hardly ever back Town to do well though. It just amplifies the disappointment!

Shame, I was hoping Lincoln would be quite a bit longer than that. As long as they have their management duo then they'll probably have a decent shot but not good value at 10/1. Town on the other hand are tempting.

Exactly, but their record under the Bros for the title would make the bookies show caution. looking forward to seeing their hand against us this season though

Don't quite get how we can be that long odds to be honest, well worth a punt even at this stage.

In a word: Slade

In a few more words, he's never been promoted in the FL so won't be low odds for the title.

If we hadn't got ourselves overloaded with players and been able to sign some quality - especially strikers i think the odds would have been much lower. Fans should remember we've sold our star striker in Jan which has to be adequately replaced if we are to mount a challenge. The odds wont fall until we show our hand with new signings.

Does the 33/1 odds only count if we finish top 3 or do you still get the same odds if we go up by the play offs ?

I do not bet on Town but at that price I would be daft not to,

It might be a good idea to do a double with Lincoln

33/1 is to win the league. Each way is top 3.

Good odds when you look at 25-1 for Yeovil

Oh thanks for that, I think I will wait to see what players we sign before placing a bet then.

Add to the list Port vale and I would expect the teams in bold to be challenge for promotion next year, if we finished in the play offs it would be a big achievement as L2 will be very competitive I feel.

Not a betting man but whoever set better odds for Yeovil than Town needs a slap.

How about a potential fund raiser for the club whereby fans can donate so much online and the total goes on an each way bet for promotion? At that price it's better value than should really have been offered, and any winnings could go towards signings when we're in the 1st Division the following season.

Good to see there is no outstanding favourite, it's an open league by the looks of it. Considering we finished 14th and never had a decent spell all season it's going to take a big swing for us to top the lot, which is what this bet is about. I'd probably settle for a play-off spot now but let's see who we sign in the next few weeks!

I wonder what odds were for Hartlepool and Orient.
