Was Pompey the team that blocked our parachute payment from the old Championship?
This, let them fail

Was Pompey the team? No it was, take your pick from Al fahim, Chanrai, Romanov. The most unscrupulous villainous illegitimates you could ever meet. We bought Diara from Arsenal for £5.5m but they never received a penny from gaydamak. He sold him to Real Madrid for £23m and the club never received a penny. We simply got saddled with the debt. I like to think that as a community run club we, above all other clubs are run the best. We repaid the legacy debt 7 years ahead of schedule. We have our own training facility and pitches now yet never did in the prem. we have an academy that's starting to turn out players like Conor Chaplin now. Imitative s set up all over the area with the club. A proper club run by people who not only care for the club but care for the image of football which we know the FA does not. Fit and proper is a joke and it's always the fans who have to take it. If it's another grovelling apology we as a club have to make then I sincerely feel bad for what others have done in the name of our good club. Regards Admiral
Ps Joanna's! Jeez mate you need to come here again. It's got some great late night bars here again certainly not the seedy dump that derrys cross and union st is. Second thoughts I'll catch you at boobs or tube soon

Up until yesterday Pompey were happy with promotion. However after yesterday's results, two things have become clear. We need to carry on our fantastic form having taken 25 out of 30 points and we need a helping hand from you guys. On the very last day we could become champions if you can turn over plyMOUTH. It would be the only time we hit top spot. We need a favour from Hartlepool too but if we can hit this. Pompey then becomes one of only 3 or 4 clubs in history to win all 4 divisions!! Up the mariners. Certainly the next time you play us you'd get invites all over our pubs. Southern isn't as good as yours but our hospitality certainly can be! Good luck
I have to throw this question out for the stattos/trivia lovers of this board.....Name the "3-4 clubs in history to win all 4 divisions". No names spring to my mind at this point!

I'll match your boobs and raise you Diamond Lills. (you might have to ask your Dad on that one) !! Had a few in the Mighty fine though. Had an interesting 'chat' once with Docker Hughes and some of his mates. A long long time ago Talking of villains (alledgedly) would you have 'Harry' back ?

| The wife was going away for a girly weekend. I jokingly remarked 'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football' 'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked She said 'Well you already know how to play football' |

Seem to remember that Kevin Bond liked to collect brown paper envelopes when he worked for Harry, was he not at Pompey when he was caught on camera (Panorama?) looking to add to his collection?

Joanna's in Southsea was my favorite, then on to NERO's casino a few doors away, then there was 'Martha's with the disco upstairs as well, however over in Plymouth my favourite was Noah's Ark which had the disco upstairs called 'Spanish Bars, circa 1973/74/75/76. None were as good as 'Clouds' disco in Cleethorpes though.
I actually think our manager will put what he considers his team for next season out against Plymouth & i would expect that game to be used to test Russells Slade future team against this newly promoted 1st division Plymouth as a sounding board for next season & i think we will turn them over.

I remember diamond lols ffs! 😄 Two trees, ace of spades. Yep I was a skate too I also remember I night out in Grimsby pier 39 I think it was called. My mate lived in Holton Le Clay.
Would I have Arry back? A question mooted around our boards often. Entertainment wise, his teams were great. We attacked and attacked win lose or draw. But no, he'd be lynched by far more than those that would welcome him. Rightly so in my personal opinion. In fact he bought Joanna's and the entire block including 5th avenue real but no firm would work for him and no scummers could come to Pompey for him safely so it mysteriously caught fire one night!! Being turned into affordable housing and a home I believe now.
This is certainly one of the better footie boards. Most boards have that 'attack the alien' attitude. I'll be hoping you get promotion next season. We could mount a challenge of our own but it's far more likely that we will stabilise in our new surroundings next season and be ready properly the following year. We are building slowly and the way it should be. So with luck there will be a possibility of renewing our games Stay lucky.

You can put your money on us beating Plymouth,
Don't think you will have much joy with Hartlepool doing you a favour though.
