Good luck to him, but I'm glad he's gone. Football had become so stale at home. When we went 1-0 down his last home game, I went for a couple of pints in the lower findus bar. I knew the game was over, seen it all before.

I have Shrewsbury at an average price of 25/1 to finish in the top half. At the moment I am pretty confident. I keep topping up.

Seems like Hurst is trying a bit harder with the praise for the Shrewsbury atmosphere than he did with our lot! Maybe he's learning eh?

Ah, give it a rest. Hurst praised the fans plenty of times in interviews.

I know 2 ex players who he let go and a third ex player who tells the same story of hurst which came from another HP ,and it goes the same way ' good honest decent bloke told me how it was ' 'kept me in the loop all the time ' 'great man manager' ' tried to get me another club'   Now regarding the fans no doubt he said some ridiculous things but it seems to me the players who played for him wanted to do just that ! The real story won't come out for abit but it will

Is it to do with as rumoured broken promises?
