I have to say the first 30 minutes last night were awful. 6 goals leaked in 7 days is a real worry. At Wycombe and Colchester last night we just looked so lax at the back. Not used to that.

However, we can score goals and when we keep the ball on the floor we look really good. Hoofing to Jackson doesn't work.

We had Wycombe on the ropes Saturday but sat back after we scored and blew it. last night despite getting mullered we created loads of chances.

My view - we beat Morecambe - we should have done. It sounded on the radio we played well at Derby but run out of legs which is no disgrace. Wycombe we blew it and have nothing to be afraid of... Colchester ... The result flattered us, we were slaughtered and is a big wake up call. Speaking to Colchester fans after the game they said we were worse than Cambridge who they played Saturday.

Let's be honest a tough 7 days, but learned lots. Perhaps we are not as good as we all think we are or should be, but we are definately a lot better than last year.  With the exception of Colchester first half, we have done pretty well. You would hope that with time, the infamous gelling will occur. However, need some points to boost confidence as we don't want to go 4 on the bounce with defeats

A losing mentality is not the best way to start the season just glad our next couple of games is at home so we can play in front of our own fans and maybe steady the ship a bit. Colchester was always going to be one of the tougher games away this season and we should have done better at Wycombe. We need to be picking up points against teams like Wycombe who are beatable. We won't get so many easy games this season against urine poor part timers so we need the squad to find it's backbone and not fall apart.
