Guest User	I think you're right about the Town first leg. Everyone predicting (hoping) for a convincing win - it won't be, it'll be either a draw or one goal in it. If it's a draw, all hell will break loose. Second leg will be very similar. My advice would be to wear a big nappy or get the Imodium in.

I thought we had agreed to give all the encouragement we could muster. I have been busting a gut to call some f*cker but I haven,t done for 3 days 14 hours  16  minutes and 14 seconds so I am saying Town will win all remaining matches 3 - 1.

Penalty eventually taken by Hoban who blasted the ball high and wide over the Findus stand. Hoban was also sent off after a plea to the referee by Paul Hurst. Town eventually won a lucky victory 3 - 1 after a hat trick by Monkhouse who was substituted in the 72 nd minute.Town supporters now await anxiously to see if they will face a ban after the ensuing pitch invasion.  Bogle,Podge, and Nolan all awarded joint man of the match awards. In his after match commentary paul said they had been working on the tactics all week to ensure Braintree became over confident.

Guest User	Play-off matches are typically tight affairs - and most posters are expecting this, as I am. I'd say therefore it's impossible to predict - at least half of the tight matches I've watched have hinged on referees' decisions. (And that's why my interest in football is at an all-time low.) Ideally you'd like a charismatic manager who can motivate a team for a one-off result-defining performance in the home leg, but I think we're buggered on that front. The 12th man idea is fine for sales of sore-throat sprays and lozenges, but I'm old-fashioned enough to think it's the manager's job to get his team 'buzzing'. Just hoping for League football however we can get it....
