Any news on tickets for Sunday yet? We could possibly out number them as it's a weekend game.

Their average this season is around 770   but I see they had a large crowd yesterday for some reason . I would suggest we would be equal to their home attendance of 700 .

It would be good if the club could clarify our allocation as soon as possible., as if we're only going to get 6-700, then some of us down south will need to make early arrangements to get in the home end.  It's in the club's interests to get as many of us into Braintree as possible.

Not sure how many can get on that away terrace, but I'd have thought it could take 800-1000.

Yeah I saw that too, I do know they discounted the adult tickets though.

50/50 Would be good..........based upon previous visits their fans are a right set of Leary tosser.

Just read on footballgroundguide (http://www.footballgroundguide.....d-average-attendance )that the Quag end terrace holds 1000, with an additional 365 seats if requested/needed, so looks like we'll get 1000 at least.  Hope the club push for some of the terracing along the side and the seats.  Could see us taking 2000 which would still leave room for three times their average home support to get a ticket too.

It's not in their interest footballing-wise to let us have half the ground though, I'd be highly surprised if they did. What I can see happening is us getting 1200ish and them selling 2000 to home fans with the rest of the ground being made up of Town fans in their end.

I think you're probably right mariner91.  1200/1300 for us plus a few hundred in the home end should be OK, barring any sudden upsurge in interest in their club from the people of Braintree.

I can't see there being an upsurge bigger than this weekend. The game yesterday was the biggest in their history to date and they still couldn't half fill the ground.

Yes it is but I doubt they'll double the number of home fans that were there.

Says a lot about the football hierarchy when a 5th tier English game has to be scheduled to avoid a clash with the Europa League semis that kick off at 8:05

Anyone who thinks our game is going to have an effect on things elsewhere needs to think again!
