As I did a sweepstake for the 2014 World Cup I am just looking to see if we have the interest to do a similar sweep on the 2016 Euro's.

There are 24 teams so at £10 a team that would give us a prize pot of £240. On this occasion all that pot will be paid out in prizes.

My suggestion would be £120 to the winner, £60 to the runner-up and 2 other prizes of £30. One for the team with the worst record in the group stages (if tied, prize split) and £30 to the first team to lose on penalties. If no penalty shoot-outs then I would donate this £30 to The Mariners Trust.

Games don't start until the 10th of June so I won't br taking entries for a couple of months yet, but just want to see if we have 24 people willing to take part.

If you have any other suggestions feel free to mention them and if you are interested add a post to this thread. If we do have the interest it'll be the first 24 to post their names.

Latest update. I have PM'ed everyone who expressed an interest and set a deadline of 6pm on the 3rd of June for money to be sent. Antone who does not get back to me by then will have their place offered to the first person on the reserve list.

Once again, when using Paypal, can I please re-iterate to choose the option "send money to friends or family" rather than "pay for goods or services" as this incurs a charge of 54p and I only receive £9.46. I know it's not a lot really but for everyone that does it reduces the money I receive.

I have already had one through like this. If you choose the option "send money to friends and family" then no charges are incurred to either party and I receive the full £10.

As far as I can tell, just Hagrid, Simariner, Pizzzza, GTFCGarner and Wozofgrimsby who haven't paid yet.

I am getting Simariner's money on Wednesday and I will send a reminder to the others if I don't receive their money by tomorrow evening. If any are not paid by the 3rd of June then places will go to the people on the reserve list.

The draw has now been done as you can see from the video below.

You can all have a laugh at my amateurism and the fact that I didn't realise you'd be able to read the teams properly when the video was played.  

I will publish a list of teams and entrants in a few days time when people have had a chance to watch the video.
