Make sure you enter your telephone number "in correct format", otherwise it takes flippin' ages.  

It took me flippin' ages -- but this initiative is great job by all concerned.  

About a quarter of the way to the initial target after an hour and a bit.

It's against crowdfunder rules to do any raffles or draws as part of it, so we'd need to be careful as I'd hate for us to become a cropper after such a great start.

Does the amount raised showing on the website include the £5,000 being put in by the Trust? Or is this added later?

I'll be honest, saw this this morning and thought it was a great idea but no chance we'll get 20 grand. Just looked again at the total and I'm astonished! At this rate I'll be proved wrong by the end of the day! A top top effort from everyone. Makes me so proud to be a mariner!
