Poor David Lee, Gary Johnson's assistant at Northampton, has left the club today. He took charge as Caretaker Manager for just the one match, an unfortunate 2-7 home defeat to Shrewsbury. In the run up to the match he'd said he hoped to stake a claim to be considered for the post permanently.
If you missed the highlights, the Shrews seventh was a classic. I think only Chris Brass' own goal playing for Bury a few years back surpasses it.
