May I ask why you want to experiment with the side again after the constant member ups it has produced?! Somebody earlier in the thread described thanoj as our most gifted midfielder, hilarious!

Personally, I think it's a bloody good formation.

You could argue it's extra solidiity at the back AND in midfield.
Ideally we need wingbacks Wood and Green bombing on down the flanks putting crosses in.
If they push up then it's like a 3-5-2.
Only drawback for me is no Coulson or Townsend.
But well played sir !

I wouldn't be hitting the panic button and drop players for one bad game, especially I'Anson.
I'd stick with Duffy over Elding (just).

If things start to look dodgy in midfield, sub Eagle for Green and go diamond 4-3-3 with Coulson just behind the front 2.
