What do you think will happen will Coulson out right side of midfield and no Southwell ?

Will we stick Makofo or Eagle there or stick with 4-3-3 ?

I suspect the latter but bearing in mind what Hurst said about not wanting people to think we'd be setting up defensively had we started 4-3-3 at home to Wrexham, I'm really not sure what to expect...

I'd expect the same team as last week with Makofo replacing Coulson.
But if we go 4 4 2 then I think the midfield will be Makofo, Panther, Disley, Eagle/Green.

Not sure I'd want Makofo in a middle three...defensively wouldn't be great.

Think Mofo would be wide right/left mate! I think it will be

                        McKeown

Wood.         I'Anson.      Kempson.      Townsend

                       Disley

                Thanoj.   Panther

    Hearn.                                 Makofo

                       Duffy

Hearn is wasted out wide, and while I can understand it away from home, to play him there in a home game (against a side below us) would be daft.

Your probably right pal, just thinking if the performance was so good against Port Vale then we may have stumbled upon something that works!

Good point was thinking the same.
Suppose there's no alternative in a 4-3-3 cos if Hearn goes in the middle, Duffy has to go out wide.
Unless Elding plays maybe ?

See you've gone 4-4-2 with Makofo on the right, so maybe that's best all round.
If Serge cuts in on his left foot hopefully he could be quite effective.

Maybe the only other option to having 2 wide forwards is to play a diamond 4-3-1-2 (similar to Mighty Mariner's sit in front of the back 4 formation), but who would be the 1 ? Won't be Coulson.
Makofo ? He's got ability to run, not sure about his passing though. Sounds a bit dodgy.

Anyway, you've convinced me it'll be 4-4-2 tomorrow...
