Does anyone happen to know the very house Rod Temperton was raised in? I know he lived on Church Avenue Humberston but would like to know the number. I dont suppose anyone has any old phone books from the 70's or 80's have they!!!

Actually, quite good. I have in my possession a Grimsby and District phone book from August 1976. It lists an LL Temperton living at 70, Church Avenue, Humberston.

PS Before anyone asks I don't collect these things. I have my grandad's old briefcase in the attic which contains his personal papers, including said phone book.

That will be the one. Thanks KOTK and thanks to your grandad for saving his phone book. I have a couple of friends living very close to the address and wondered if they might be in the very house but alas no. Thanks again and i hope you didn't get too dusty up in the attic.
